| Dr. Brent Monahan teaches at Rutgers and Rider Universities. He has had ten novels published, including The Bell Witch/An American Haunting, which recently became a major motion picture with Donald Sutherland and Sissy Spacek. His novel To Move the World tells the amazing, true story of how Archimedes and the Greek colonial city of Siracusa (on Sicily) held off two Roman legions for more than two years. The genius mathematician invented engines of war so fearsome that the Romans believed the gods fought against them. | Hoplite Greece 500 B.C.
This is a fine sculpture of a Greek Hoplite made by sculptor Stephan Fugleberg. It is cast by Tom Banwell and there is an edition of 50 available. The height is 20". Color is green on black finish.
